Mother Wounds
Nurturing the wounds from our mothers – In honor of Mothers Day
In honor of Mothers Day we are holding a full day workshop where we will create a safe container to unpack the wounds from our mothers.
(Attendance open to all genders)
Motherhood is one of the most amazing things a human can experience, yet our culture does not provide an environment for mothers to be supported, educated and honored so that they may be the best support to their children. Due to this cultural dysfunction, many mothers end up causing harm to their children on many different levels.
Being that we are birthed from our mothers, the mother wounds run very deep and can negatively impact our entire lives, the people we have become and the relationships we try and build. The severity of this is different for each individual. At this workshop we will explore this wounding and how it has effected who we are today.
We will also look at how the impact of our mother wounds shows up in how we hold motherhood in our own lives either as parents with our own children or for those in our lives that are parents.
At this workshop you will be doing deep somatic work on these wounds so that you may start to transform the things within yourself and your life that are affected by these wounds.
